The Story

At INK Design, we believe the inspiration phase is one of the most vital steps in the creative process. To truly understand Lovia Mykonos, we immersed ourselves in its natural setting—feeling the Mykonian breeze, walking the rugged rocks, and witnessing sunsets that painted the sky in sublime colors. These experiences shaped our vision and informed every design decision.

The hotel’s name, Lovia, was born from the owners’ love for Mykonos, its landscape, and their passion for outstanding hospitality. A word that is both catchy and meaningful, Lovia embodies affection, place, and experience.

The Challenge

As a new luxury hotel, Lovia required a distinctive identity that would resonate with guests and reflect its cosmopolitan essence. Our mission was to craft a brand that was elegant, memorable, and emotionally connected to its environment.

Strategy & Insight

Our naming strategy drew inspiration from the hotel’s location and natural surroundings. Each venue was given a name rooted in place and symbolism:

MAIN RESTAURANT

Inspired by the rocky plot overlooking the sunset, offering authentic Mediterranean cuisine.

SECONDARY RESTAURANT

Named after the wild flower that thrives on Mykonos’ rocky terrain.

SPA

A nod to the flowering plant family, symbolizing rejuvenation and wellbeing.

All logos were designed with smooth, elegant curves to evoke calm, beauty, and sophistication.
