Objective & Challenge
Markou Vineyards, a family with generations of deep knowledge and love for viticulture, introduced Euphoria, a rosé wine made from 100% Agiorgitiko. Our challenge was to design a label that would stand out in a competitive market where aesthetics play a decisive role. The goal was to create an elegant, memorable design that would capture attention at first glance and inspire consumer trust.
Strategy & Creativity
We began by exploring the meaning of euphoria — a state of pleasure and well-being long associated with wine. This connection between wine and the brain became the foundation of our concept. The design elegantly merges the image of the human brain with a vine leaf, symbolizing the harmony between nature, science, and the joy of wine. The balance of detail ensured clarity without overwhelming the eye.
Implementation & Results
The final label was printed using gold foil hot stamping, highlighting the colors with brilliance and sophistication. Embossed paper added tactile depth, with raised fonts and textures enhancing the premium feel. The result is a label that communicates elegance, quality, and emotional resonance, positioning Euphoria as a wine of distinction.
This creative work earned INK Design the Bronze Award at both the Indie Awards 2022 and the Packaging Awards 2022, recognizing excellence in wine label design.
