Objective & Challenge

Lovia, a new hotel in Mykonos Town, needed a complete brand identity from the ground up — including a name, logo, corporate materials, and a website. The challenge was to establish a strong, timeless brand in a highly competitive hospitality market, where Mykonos and Santorini attract global attention and demand immediate differentiation.

Strategy & Creativity

We explored multiple naming options before arriving at Lovia — a short, sonorous word derived from Love, evoking positive associations and emotional resonance. For the logo, we designed a calligraphic “L” within an elaborate circle, exuding refinement and luxury. This became the foundation for the corporate identity, extending across business cards, envelopes, and letterheads. Every element was crafted to balance elegance with memorability.

Implementation & Results

The identity was applied consistently across menus, directories, signage, and branded items such as key rings, with careful attention to materials that matched the hotel’s premium hospitality standards. The same aesthetic guided the website design, ensuring coherence between online and offline presence. The result is a comprehensive identity that communicates Lovia’s character, enhances recognition, and frames the guest experience with sophistication.

This holistic branding earned INK Design the Bronze Award in Branding at the Indie Awards 2023, recognizing excellence in hospitality identity creation.
